I Purchased a JD 730 Diesel from Loveland Colorado serial #7320385 the verbal history is. grandpa lived in Cincinnati Iowa purchased this tractor at the Chariton Ia.
.When he passed the tractor went to his son and grandson in Loveland. They completely restored it to excellent condition. The part that got me interested was according according to John Deere company it was made Jan.10th 1959 and delivered to Carrolton Mo. which is my home area.
It also has a unique clutch lever on it which I believe is factory because it has a john Deere like part # on it.
I would like help with Two things is this clutch lever a factory option. some said it was for use with a corn picker so you could drive standing up.
I am new at this but i will try to add some pictures
Also who might have purchased it in Carrolton, Mo around January 1959.
