I finally have found a local auction to go to here in NE Pennsylvania where a 150 year old family farm is selling out. These are John Deere farmers. We don't see many of the larger two cylinders in this country. There is only a 50 offered at this auction along with a new generation tractor. Auction is showing two 3 point mounted plows, 3 and 4 bottom. I know the 730 was designed to handle 5, but our soil here is not easy to turn. Am interested in the 4 bottom. Looking at my thirty series literature, I believe it shows an 810 series plow as current for the 30 series. Can anyone shed any light on this series plow and possibly tell me where to see a picture? Am I on the right track for my 730D RC with this model plow? They also show a wheeled four bottom JD plow on the auction bill. Makes me curious as the only older tractor shown is the 50.
