I just picked up two John Deere MC's. One with engine running and one not. Tin is reasonable on both and tracks are good. One has good blade with some modifications. Anyone having experience restoring these little crawlers, would like to hear from you. Or I might be interested in selling (reasonable) or both as a package. Thanks, wee

Thanks for that. The two MC's I picked up were from an estate cleanup. Stuff was being sold by the pound as scrape metal. Both had been left outdoors for some time it appears so lots of rust and debris to remove before I start. I have never restored an MC before and am not sure I can do it. Probably want to sell as a pair. One reasonable shape and one for parts I suspect. But I think if you were really into these, both could be restored. If anyone interested, I will send pictures. In the meantime, I will search for parts and manuals and any other help I can find.

DO yourself a big favor an alot of money an i mean alot of money take them back as fast as you can. i restored one crawler an that was enough. never had a bigger money pit in my life.
