JD Part Identification

Why was this weight made so different than the other three JD rear weights that will bolt up to an 820/830?
Could this be the weight that fits the Rice Special rims so that the other weights can be bolted up?

The A3404R weighs 142 lbs. It fits 34 inch wheels. The F1592R fits 26 inch wheels and weighs 116 lbs. These are the only two that I find that were for the 830.

MSD,

I have the JD MPI but could locate this part number in there. Where did you get your information?
Are these rear weights rare?

Last year my son did a lot of research on serial numbers and production numbers. He reviewed all the old 2Cyl. magazines and Green Magazines, the production registry and anything else he could find. He put it all together on the computer and created a nice booklet with all the info including weights, rims and carb. numbers for the 2 cylinders including the Dubugue and new generation upto the 4230's. He is showing that he got the weight info from the March/April issue of two-Cylinder.

Someone asked the question of this same weight a few weeks ago and if I remember right Wilamayb said this weight was made to fit all the standard tread tractors from the 620 to the 830. I made note of it , as I would like to find some of these weights to put on my 720 standard.
