Jeep Grarden tractor

I just picked up an old riding mower that looks like a jeep. I am unable to find any info on it and there is no data plate. It has a Tecumseh 7 hp engine and articulating steering. The mower deck is missing, but the model number on the engine indicates that it was for a mower. Anybody have any info on this thing and who made it?

Made I think in the 60s. I believe I have seen an ad for it in Popular Mechanics or Pop Science mags. I have no idea if I still have the ad. Looks like a fun project.

Believe they were built by Roof, names of Ranger/Palamino come to mind,Quite rare and well worth restoring.
Check archives here as I believe they've been discussed/explained in past.

I did a search for "Roof Palomino", I don't think it's the same. They same larger and heavier, with a 2 cylinder Kohler, plus no articulated steering. Maybe they had several models, so I could be wrong. Looks like you have most of the important stuff to get yours going.

I found it after searching all morning on line. It is a Struck Mini Beep. 1960s and is supposed to be 4x4, but the front transaxle is missing from this one, they were a kit so maybe it just was not put together that way.
