Jefferson City, TN pull

April 7th pull scheduled with the Predator sled. Who all is coming? There seems to be another pull scheduled in Bean Station, TN. Which pull would be the best to attend for a new puller?

Bean Station,4 & 12 mile per hr classes 3,hooks per tractor Jefferson City won't know till they get there,maybe 5 mile per hr and open classes or pull what you brought and hope you brought enough

Jeff city is the FFA pull there is usually farmstock and antique from 3500 to 10000 I think. It's not the same as the fair pull where it's run what u brung.

Jeff City is a very very tight track. They generally don't need a drag down tractor to level the track between pullers. That track is always so tight that it will bring smoke off your tires and the predator sled is the best hook I have ever had anywhere it goes. That being said.........they usually don't have classes in 500 lb increments. So you generally handle a lot of weights to get to the 1000 pound increments and they don't have a lot of open gear stuff. They will make sure you get to pull the sled because they will make whatever class you want to pull as long as you have money to pay hook fees but no trophies in those classes and there may possibly not be a speed limit in any classes. I love to pull both places. The bean patch track is also a good tight track. It was new last year and needed a bit of work which I don't know if that has happened or not. The bean patch pull will be much more organized with pre set classes and enforced speed limits. The other side of the coin on the bean patch pull is that it will be the first East Tennessee pull of the year so there is the possibility of some equipment failure if it goes as their first pull of the year has for the past two years so......here it is.....if you want to have more of a guarantee that the sled and scales will work properly I'd say go to Jeff City but if you want a more organized pull I'd say go to Bean Patch. Both tracks are pretty dang good tracks. Just my opinion.

Are you pulling 4 or 12 mph. EAST TN sled not as hard to take off with . The jeff city sled is hard to take off with . So if you want to try it out go to the bean patch and if you want to really try it out got to jeff.

April 7 pull in Jefferson City is a FFA benefit pull. Starts at noon. Classes will be: Farm Stock (3mph), 3500,4000,4500,5000,5500,6000,6500,7500,8500, 10000+. Modified (4mph) 3500,4000,4500,5000,5500,6000,6500,7500,8000. Open Gear (Run what you brung!) 4000, 4500, 5000, 6000.
As it has been mentioned, we will be glad to add classes if there is interest, however trophies may not be available for classes added day of event. $10 per hook. Limit of 3 hooks per tractor. We will be using the predator sled. 865-368-7432 for more info.

I will be running a Oliver 88 with a GK195 engine that has been built "a little". Sounds that either pull will be a good place to try it out. Thanks everyone for the information.
