Some of you remember the story of or the one kid I hired to move mulch and he ran off with my keys and started my tractor-well heres an update-Well people were watching fireworks, he ran off with a ton of fireworks, not lit, and there was someone there who was shooting cats and trapping them, and even breaking their legs, and I was asking around and the kids neighbor said they caught the kid and he diddnt want to talk about it. It was proobally this kid which has the previous run in with me.
For those of you who havent heard the story-

There was this time I was working on mulch and this kid came begging me for work-something or other about his girlfriend-and I started joking-I'll give you $3.00 to move this much, but he said OK so I got him a pitchfork. When we were finished, he somehow got my keys and started my tractor, my new, New Holland, my new $13,000 New Holland. I was ferious, and he had his keys in the ignition (he allready started it) and I grabbed his hand and he whined OW LET GO! and I twisted his arm hard as I could and he went " What was that for?" and I roared " What the hell was that for" and I picked up the keys and rolled up my sleeves and said, dangling the keys infront of him- " Wanna try again" He said no and I told him to get off my property before I call the police.

He is now known as the little theif, he lives without paying rent, and everyone is sick of him. I have discovered that if a flea like him could manage to put in gear, that would be grand theft, a felony, if it is a felony, it would be legal to use **Extreme** force to prevent/ or stop it from happening.

Just to show how damn stupid he is-I saw him in town the other day and he asked me "What is Up" and I told him to gett the hell away from me. He then asked " What? Dd I say something?"

You need to cool it and let bygones be bygones. The kid will be the way he is until the law puts him down. You do not need to be so uptight, you are not in a mid-life crisis.

Let the kid go.

Huh? I have no idea who this person is other than he complained about the kid once before.

How do i know you're not him either?

stop playing games.

Does someone need to explain the IP address thing again???

All I'll say is that anytime a post or reply is submitted,a "signature" of the computer being used is shown for all to see at the left of the post.

jmtnv and Lanse are using the same computer.

That don't mean nothing. My one computer that I have has about 4 different IP addresses. With dial up the numbers will vary.

Go to the Farmall board and look at some of my post. There is more than one since I have signed off a couple of times tonight.

There was also a discussion that de-bunked that, something about AOL and the whole like. Didn't pay attention to the details of it, but I got the general gist of it. Just because they have the same IP address, it doesn't automatically mean they have been on the same computer, just the same ISP provider or some other coincidence.

Please lets not get into an IP address war again- it just isn't worth it, cause it happens about every 2 months on here.

A NH TZ25DA, I use it for

Plowing
Disking
Tilling
Bushhogging
Wagon Work
Dirt Scoop
Spreading ferdiliser
Cultivating
Planting

I really like it NH is a good brand. It could handle a 60" tiller. I diddnt get a loader but wish I had.

That IP appears to belong to AOL, so it seems likely that it's a NAT'ed (Network Address Translated) IP.

The IP is unique for a machine only if it's connected more or less directly to the internet. If there's a firewall in place, chances are the IP is NAT'ed and could be shared by multiple machines. Note that the IP displayed with a ytmag post is the client IP seen by ytmag's server, which is not necessarily the same IP that poster would see for his client.

So this is your $13,000 tractor?

Brad,

It just leaves a track of the IP gateway; not the individual computer.

So, it is very conceivable that two computers on the same IP at different times could show the same IP address.

Since he is routed thru AOL and that is one huge corral of computers/customers, this is not at all surprising.

Even a small slip in a small town will throw identical IP address for different dialin(s) at different times.

The only way to identify the indenty of a particular computer is to go to the IP's log and see who was on at what time.

I agree! But I don't think you could get a woman that looks like that and can/will drive a tractor (if thats what you want to call that thing) for $6600.

Yes, that's right. With dial-up, you're on a dynamic IP system where you are assigned a different IP each time you log in.... but only the last number should change. It is conceivable that two people could be assigned the same address, but that owuld be one heck of a coincidence. I'd bet if it were that way, it's probably a small enough area that these two know each other....

I'm on wireless now so my IP never changes anymore.

I think the jerk off is the guy that would buy a NH!!! and then post how some kid started it??? SO WHAT GET OVER IT!!!! If I was the kid and you twisted my arm I would get revange on you!!! By By NH!!

All of you ought to be ashamed.
Most of us read this to share and learn something.... Maybe you babies could learn to quit bickerin' and cryin'!
