I am restoring a No. 100 Quik-Tatch one-row corn snapper and need some parts. The parts I need are in the first elevator numbers 26 & 27. I will need:
2 - J 16396 N SPACER, WOOD
1 - AJ 7967 N SHIELD, IDLER SPROCKET
If you do not have these parts do you have a contact to order them from. Thanks!

have you ever used one of these old pickers.

just saying before you dump a lot of time and money in an old picker that is 66 years old.

I have one, model 100, built in 1948 and it would pick, but unless the rollers are in good shape, it will clog up and shell about as much corn as it picks.

also, the corn needs to be planted about 12" + apart and clean, it did not like corn planted close or heavy weeds and grass,

good luck in finding the parts, wish I could remember who sold me the heavy spring for the main roller clutch, he had one or two setting in the back lot and sold me some parts years ago.
might still have them, but I do not have his address.

again, good luck and stay safe, these old pickers can be dangerous machines.

Thanks! We have 3 pickers and try to keep one going. I know exactly what you are talking as far as the rollers and safety. Did this for my Dad and unfortunately he passed away 3 months ago. Just trying to keep the family tradition going. Thanks!

I restored a 101 picker, the part numbers for the wood spacers are the same for the 100 and 101.I used the correct size hole saw in an oak block cut to size for length and they work perfect.Hope this helps you out.
