John Deere 112

How popular (value) is a John Deere 112 with a 39 inch deck? A fellow wants to trade me one for a piece of equipment that I have. I paid almost 500.00 for the item I have. He sent me picture of it. It seem to be a little on the rough side. Paint is faded, seat cushion is cracked.

my uncle got a 110 hydro with mower, tiller and front blade. all working,and good paint newer seat for 750$. needed new grill at 45$, and brinley hitch at 100$. it kicks colorado dirt, and weeds well. these machines are hard to beat.

Like JD garden tractors. Am running a 300 now. had a 112 and a 140. The big deal with like the 110/112 is the parts sell high on E-bay. Those things are really built good.

If its in good shape it might be worth $500. In excellent "restored" condition I've seen people asking $1000 to $1500 for them - but they don't seem to sell that often. In "rough" condition its more like $300 - $450. This time of year mowers are selling at a premium though.
