John Deere 346 Baler

I just bought a JD 346 Baler. I hope it is a good one. Does anyone know how this model compares to other balers?

A very good higher capacity baler. It makes the larger 16"x 18" bales. Little square bales around here have really jumped in price the last year or so.

my blood runs red but i do keep a 336 tucked away. JD got a few things right very good baler. as other post said, bigger than normal bale but none the less awesome machine......

According to my memory the 336/346 bale size is the same as a 338/348 Baler. Bale Size Height x Width, in. (cm) 14x18 (36x46) Height x Width, in. (cm) 14x18 (36x46) not 16"X 18". 466/467 sq baler made 16"x 18" bales.

346's are getting old like me but are good hay balers.

Anyone ever wonder why rectangular bales are called square bales?

JD, you are thinking of a 466,467,468 baler. The 336,347,and 3**series all make 14 X18 bales.
