John Deere 4010 hydraulics

What kind of hydraulic pressure and flow rate does a John Deere 4010 have. I have a John Deere 7000 conservation planter and I am looking for a tractor with enough hydraulics to raise the planter and the marker arm.

It's all in your operator's manual. Don't have it? Call 1-800-522-7448.

If your 4010 is feeling good it should handle it fine,it should have 2250 psi stand-by pressure and flow about 12-14 gallon ....

I run a 4 row 7000 with my MF-135 that has about 3.5 gpm flow. Its slow but it rises. It was faster on my 4020 but its harder to plant straight rows with the 4020 and it takes a lot more gas and the 135 does it just fine.

The 4010 probably has 12 or 15 gpm available, with the flow rate set on the SCVs to about 5 gpm. 2250 psi. 5 gpm moves an 8" x 3 cylinder full stroke in 3 to 5 seconds, plenty fast for a planter. I have the marker separated from the lift cylinder so I can get the marker down faster and running both single ended to simplify the hoses. Last time I was no tilling beans in corn so I just drove on the corn rows and didn't put the markers down at all.

I don't have a 4010 yet, that is one of the tractors I am looking at. My 7000 is a six row and has a cyliner at each wheel as well as the marker arm. My Ford 981 with 4 gpm will raise the planter but doesn't have enough left to raise the marker arm. So, I was wonering if a 4010 would raise it or not.
