I was thinking about buying one to use for hay cutting, raking and bushogging. The one I was looking at is an open station 2WD with the 16F/16R transmission. Are these a good tractor and could someone tell me more about the economy PTO. Thanks

We have sold a heap of these, some as back up tractors on dairy farms and a lot to the local council contractors for mowing roadsides, public parks and school playing fields etc. We have had very little trouble, a few leaks and other teething troubles when they first came out but JD soon notified us to rectify the affected units, after that they have been pretty well trouble free. The biggest headache for us is fitting them with brake lamps and turn signals/ lighting etc to conform to our traffic
regulations. the Council tractors are getting quite a few hours on them now.
