John Deere Discs

I just brought home an 11'6" width John Deere wheel lift disc. The cylinder is missing and I'm wondering what size too put back on it. Its an older disc but has bearings instead of bushings. It has a pipe tongue that removes via a pin. Any ideas as too the model of this disc? Thanks guys.
p.s. It has 32 discs....all of which will need replaced soon as will the scrapers. $$$....any ideas where too buy these or find used ones in decent shape.

I bought my replacement discs at TSC. They were the cheapest I could find. The sealed bearing I bought at JD dealer and the price wasn't too bad. JD dealers have most parts but they may have to order them.

A picture would help to identify it; almost assuredly a 3 x 8 cylinder would be right.

Likely a model KBA. Best price would be to buy some used blades from someone whom is rebuilding a disk and discarding decent blades. Might be tough finding some that use your size; ie, smaller, arbor/gang bolt. I assume it is 1 inch, or 1 1/16. If it is 1 1/8 or larger chances of finding used blades is much greater.

As stated a picture would help, does it have weight pans between frt & rear disks? Are the angle of disk shafts non-adjustable? If so its a RW or RWA. I second the 3X8 cylinder.

if you need blades, axles or bearings, call shoups in kankakee il, i buy from them , good people to work with. shipping may be on the pricey side, blades get heavy!! shoupparts.com

A standard ag cylinder (8" stroke) is what you need. Say a 3x8 for example.
