John Deere L

Hey if there is anyone out there that knows where I can get parts to rebuild the engine in my "L" deere I would appreciate any info. Mine happens to have the hercules motor and I'm having trouble locating a gasket set. seems the hercules has a different head gasket than the latter engines.

FROM JD PLENTY IN STOCK. FROM SER# 625000-639999 USES PART# AT314811. UNFORTUNATLEY THEY ARE OBSOLETE THROUGH DEERE. i WORK AT A JD DEALER AND LOOKED THESE UP. IT DOESN"T SPECIFY HERCULES OR JD ENGINE BUT I WILL TRY AND SEARCH FURTHER

Andy, I got a reply from a person who works at a Deere dealer and he said the part is obsolite, but he included a site to maybe get the parts from. they were available from the dealer 26 years ago when I first rebuilt it. Thanks

Don't hesitate to contact the Ridenour's. Between the father and sons they know just about everything there is to know about the L, La, or 62, off the top of their heads. They really helped us out with our Model 62. Good Luck!!
