I just bought a JD 3 bottom plow and it is older than anything I have seen. The cast number on the first beam is 439, 440 on the second, and 441 on the third. It is a clutch lift and has a large cast rear wheel.

It's a #5, built from 1916-1919. A perfect mate for a Waterloo Boy. Are you a member of Central Iowa 2-Cylinder Club??

Bought this in a package deal of stuck unstyled tractors and a couple implements. A 1926 D, 1936 B, 1937 A, B, D, and 2 1929 GP's. I am not a 2-cylinder club member, so research is taking some time. Thanks for your help.

As a local club , we meet every other month in Huxley at the High School. 2nd Tuesday of the month. The other month, we meet in Perry at Van Walls. In November we're in Huxley.
