Jubilee hydralic pump

I have an early model Jubilee with the rotory vane pump. Pump is getting weak and after oil warms up will not lift front or rear blade. Looking for a good used, rebuilt or even a new piston pump.
I understand they don't have a rebuild kit for the rotory vane pumps.

The rotary pump rebuild kits are available ~$450. I too would suggest that you swap to the piston pump.

Make sure you know what lines you need. Wengers listed them, but seemed to be out of stock.

You have some options, depending on what you are willing to spend, your mechanical ability, and/or the availability of someone who can do the work for you. If the pump is not leaking exernally, chances are that new vanes will get you back to reasonable operation. The Vanes are made of phenolic material which can be obtained from a plastics distributor. Some distributors are also fabricators who can cut the material and grind the proper angle on the ends. Also if the pump cavity is not too deeply scored, it can be cleaned up by a competent machine shop. Depending on your location, this could be more economical than a new or rebuilt pump, and will keep your tractor original.

Buy a jug of GL1 90 wt gesr oil at TSC before you spend big bucks on a piston pump.Cost me 15 bucks to get the lift back in hot weather.

Sorry I haven't answered sooner I had to go out of town unexpectedly.
Thanks for all the tips. I'll try the 90 wt for a fast fix and see how the seacrch for new or used pump goes.
Thanks to all.
