Friends I need help. I rebuilt the engine about 10 years ago and it just sat. When trying to bleed the injector pump I couldn't get fuel to the injectors. The advance piston was all stuck. Here's my problem. When I took out the parts in the end cap with the filter I'm thinking some things were stuck. After I took those out and was turning the pump around to further disassemble it I found a small spring with a little cap on one end. I think after looking at a diagram it went in the bottom of there. But looking at the diagram I think I'm missing some more things. Do you know where I could get those parts or if anyone has a bad pump they would sale me the end cap and pieces in it? I wish I had a picture of what goes in there or a better diagram the ones I found on line aren't clear. I'm a pretty good mechanic I learned from my dad who was one his whole life and retired from Schering Plough Inc. after 20 years as a diesel mechanic. I lay out parts like he taught me but not seeing where it came from and what may have fell out I missed kind of messed me up. I'd love to make him proud of me looking down from Heaven knowing I built that engine and pump from his teaching. Any help would be much appreciated. Be blessed and thanks.
