Just finished the apple butter

Got 7 pints that I canned plus 1qt and one pint that had to go into the fridge as over flow. Wife, son and I each got a piece of bread covered with warm fresh apple butter. Can not get any better then that

Sounds great old, we went from 70 to 50 today! Would go good with a cup of decaf. Thanks again for your recipes too!

Always happy to share recipes and things I have learned over the years. That way maybe some one will still know how to do stuff say 50 years from now LOL. By the way I do 99% of the cooking in my house and do my best to keep learning more of the arts of being an amateur chief

I had Apple Butter as a kid grandmother made it. When I bought a bread maker at a garage sale it had a recipe in it that one cooked right in the bread maker. It tasted just like grandmother.
