King Plow Company 20 Disc Harrow LTS 1 SER 56817 or 5881

Hello from Asheville, NC! I'm trying to re-home a King Plow Company 20 Disc Harrow that has been in my backyard for the last 5 years. I bought the house from an investor. She bought it from the bank who had a reverse mortgage tied to the farmer who died peacefully on the property. There's one new locking pin, so I think he used it until life caught up to him.

What is the equipment on top of the Disc Harrow called? What is its function? Thanks so much for your time and expertise.

That is a 3 pth boom pole .

Ditto on object on top of disk harrow is known a gin or boom pole.

FYI disk harrow has what is commonly referred to as "white iron" disk shaft brgs that require regular lubricating during use
