Knoedler Seat

I have a Knoedler adjustable Seat that needs a shock does anyone know where a person might find one. Also there is a thin metal piece that comes down from the top of the main bracket to the middle back of the seat can anyone give me the dimensions of it. This is on a 1950 8N ford Tractor.

Keep checking ebay , I've seen them . I don't think I'd like that thing sticking up the middle of my back & possibly causing an injury . My preference is the Rest O Ride seat . You mite also check over on the "ntractor" then add "club" (all one word)website . Several guys have discussed them . Maybe somone has one to sell . HTH ! God bless, Ken

He only visits here every so often. He drives a truck during the day so its hard to get in touch with him. call and leave a message. S tiner Tractor parts also sells the bearings you might need to rebuild it. I have a Knoedler seat for a Ford but I can't recall how many bearings it uses. Phil customizes a shock for the Cockshutt version of the seat but I am not sure if it is the same one used on the Ford or not.
