know anything 'bout Jackson, Miss.?

Have a big horse show in Jackson, Mississippi soon...anyone know anything about the fairgrounds there? Are the RV sites any good? What's the facility like?

I used to show cattle there back in the 60's and 70's but I imagine it has change a lot since then. Used to have a few good places to eat especially if you like southern & cajun

The fairgrounds are in a good area, as good as it gets in Jackson, MS. You will be a little south of the Northpark Mall on Countyline Road. There are good restaurants in the area especially to your north. I highly recommend the Cock of the Walk on Ross Barnett Reservoir. I"ll probably be there some time Saturday night. There"s a big Bass Pro Shop a little east of there on I20. I would stay away from west and south Jackson unless you go all the way over to Clinton. Sorry but can"t help you on RV sites. We don"t do the RV thing.
