I know one thing. King Cutter Is not built strong enough on the side skirt, the hitch, or the flange the gear box mounts to. Unless they have changed they way they are building them lately. I havent seen the new ones, but I have had to repair alot of them around here. I havent seen a Kodiak but if it looks stronger and better built I would go with that one.

Kodiak seems to be a tad cruder than KK in the weld dept.

I've had no problems with the older 'red' KK equipment for say.. 6-7 years ago. i've had no experience with the yellow KK equipment .

In that price range also look at howse.

A 96 hp tractor can pull a 15' mower..... If it were me.. I'd get an 8' or a 10' mower at least.. you can get those as 3pt. the 8' and 10' will be dual spindle, and will probably pull better than 7' single spindle mowers.

I have a howse 10' 3pt mower.. I pull it with a ford 5000 ( 70hp ) as well as a NH 7610s that is about 95hp.. etc.. though I like a 15' batwing behind my 7610s.. etc.
