H-mmmm. A 4-71 Detroit has 71 cubes per cylinder and 71 times 4 is 284. Do you have something with a Detroit in it? What have you got Don?

May take it out tomorrow [sunday ] and try out the new shoes. Full [fresh] cut Firesone Deep Treads. Have not pulled it in 3 years. the old tires were nothing. There will be good competion! Turned the max rps to 3000. Well see.....LA Case with a 4-71 Detroit.
It ain't over till the LA sings. Then we will know. Looks to be a 6 mph limit....darn. May not here the limit horn go off again...lol.

No one else will hear the horn either at 3000 rpms. Are those 18.4 x 30 rear tires? or 34s. Should be a bout 7mph in first. Let us know how it does.

Took second. A M Farmall with a Allis 4 cly turbo diesel got me . Both of us had plenty of power. I slowed down to get it to steer out of a bit of a wild ride, and other guy got thru it beter than I. Track was gravel and dirt. They allow the horn to beep 3 different times before
the you are out. Sled man said top speed was 9.5 at one time, and that was second gear.
