The handle is a US required safety device that stops the engine quickly.

Diesel push mowers??
I don't see them anytime in the future. To complex for the average homeowner. To heavy and the industry does not want to build a push mower engine that would last a lifetime.

Mule I don't either would sure be nice for mew though. Never liked a BS engine and the letters stand for just what they are BS and not their name.

I bought a coil for a push mower about 10 years ago, it was over $30, but the mower had been very reliable before and still is now.

I had a twin cylinder that was running terriblelly. I accidentally tested the coil output with my fingers, I found out which one was working. Replaced the coil, all was/is well. gobble

Same with my Husqvarna. Twin cylinder B&S.
Bought it brand new and within a couple of months began to run very weak and eratic.
Pulled the plug wires on at a time and found the bad coil. Replaced it and all is well.
