I am in real need of some LH bolts.
I need 5- 1"x6" left hand thread.
I can use either grade 5 or 8 it really doesn"t matter.
Anyone have a source or suggestions?

You can order from McMaster-Carr, go to Fastenal if you've got one close, or check out your local hardware store.

As long as you don't need them today, McMaster-Carr is probably your best bet.

Thread pitch???

McMaser has them in S.A.E., In a quick look, I didn't see N.C., though.

Greg,

Have to AGREE with you!

In my other post, I said I took a quick look at McMaster. A VERY quick look, I guess! SORRY!

I needed a left hand die for an older LGT diesel 3 point set-up..I found a left handed tap at a machine shop distributor..[ JTS Mentor , Ohio]5/8"s I think..Why not buy longer bolts , cut "em off to length , and run a 1"LH die over it...

I found them at Amazon of all places.
Thanks for all the suggestions.

I bought a bunch of bolts from Point-Products Inc, located in Michigan. The bolts were priced reasonable and when a couple were lost in shipment(UPS gorillas damaged the package)they promptly sent replacements without any questions. They have an online site to check availability.
