leveling chains?

I would like to know if anyone has ever used chains to set the height on blade for snow removal? I don"t thin your supposed to use chains when using blade, are you?

Won't hurt a thing since there's no down pressure on the 3 point. Chains would do the same thing as shoes on a blade.

depth chains on a blade are fine.. heck I like sway stabilizers too.

none on a plow or disc though..

Don't think it would work very well unless you are on perfectly flat ground.

what's the difference.

if you are running an angle using the adjustable link.. just adjust the chain shorter on one side.
