Question John in La. Bruce in Va. anyone?
I have a 53 Jub 6 volt that ate the ignition switch. This is do to I believe being wired wrong. As sounguy stated overloaded ignition switch with 15 amps or so. Lights would only work when ignition switch was on. Checked this site on wiring diagrams, seems to be right? One side to terminal block the other to the opposite side. My question, is the light switch supposed to be hot all the time? If so the light switch may on the wrong side of the terminal block? If that is where it is supposed to go? Hope this is enough info. I may be way out to lunch on this?? Tractor was wired this way when I purchased it. Its taken about 8 months to burn out the switch. Any help appreciated.
