Loader Advice Needed

Need some advice. I have a 1972 Ford 2000. Good running little tractor. Want to put a loader on it for some general farm use. Would a Ford series 770B fit? or what would you recommend and from where? I'm near Cincinnati.

what do those numbers mean? I got one of those and would like to get a loader but would preferr one that can be removed easy when not needed.

What do they mean? they are loader model numbers.

some loaders are easier to take off than others. i prefer the 1-arm loaders for light to medium duty work.. and they can be taken off pretty easy.. especially if you have a big tree in your yard with a low limb overhead, and some hyd QD's on the hoses..

I' not familiar with the 770B loader but a quick look at the New Holland parts website shows the only mounts Ford offered for this loader were for the 1310 through 1910 compact tractors. So I doubt it could be made to fit a 2000 w/o serious modifications.

The front axle on the 2000 is not built to handle a lot of heavy loader work but you'll find Bush-Hog and other manufacturers offer a loader and brackets for your tractor. A new loader will run $4k and up. Used will start from a few hundred $ & up and unless it came off a 2000/3000 you will have to make it fit.
