Loader response

If I replace the oil with a heavier viscosity will that improve the otherwise jerky response of my Wagner loader? If so, what might be a good weight to start? As it is, it's hard to make smooth movements and sometimes that's critical.

Might help ? Or maybe get some adjustable flow restrictors. Northern Hyd. or some other outfits sell them.
