I should have included that info,Yes I have the power-trol and pto still on the tractor.I have the factory drawbar frame that i'm going to use or build a hitch from scrath if I find one I like Tahnks

Ok. I have a hitch on my 70 that you might like. It is heavy, but is adjustable every way. I will try and get some pictures posted tomorrow.

here are the hitch pics. look at the last pic. build your main frame wider than the drawbar cage so that you can shim it side to side with washers to center the hitch on the tractor.

The hitch is not adjustable in and out the way i wanted. you can see that the hitch hits the drawbar cage as you slide it in. I only have 2" of adjustment in length, but i have 3 different hitches of different lengths I carry with me that i can change to.

The only part that is not removable is the angle iron welded to the drawbar cage

mmzack, feel free to post these pics in your hitch photo gallary if you want

If your looking for an alternative to a turnbuckle hitch, this is the set up on my 70... It allows for 3 inches of adjustment up and down (17 to 20 inches for me with 18.4s with 15.5s I use an offset drawbar to get to 20). It bolts onto the stock location and uses the stock pin from the drawbar to allow adjustments in and out (I have mine set so that the shortest I can go is 18 inches to the center of the axle, its the most common rules around here... it will go out to over 24.)

I forgot to mention on this one I only used 4" angle on the sides because I knew I only needed 3" of adjustment up and down.... I had a similar setup on a 4010 that had over 6" up and down, I didn't need it this time and didn't want the extra weight, I will check my numbers but I think with the slightly shorter draw bar than stock this one only added 10 or 15 lbs over the stock one once I switched them out... Its worked well for me...
