Can you find any LP leaks around the valves or fittings? If it is coming out around the valve stem, it may be the type that the packing can be replaced or maybe just needs the packing nut tightened. After it sits for a long period, can you smell any LP coming out of the exhaust stack? If there are no external leaks, you may have a bad convertor/regulator. It may still run OK, but seeps LP thru the needle/seat in the regulator just a tiny bit & out thru the exhaust. Call a forklift dealer in your area & find out where they get LP parts from.

D Pinkley, It leaks out thru the valve as I have the LP line unhooked from both valves. I'm going to see if the local CAT dealer has parts for it. Thanks for the reply. Harold
