M Guages

Can anyone tell me if the guage faces for an JD M should be black or white. I see alot of them in ads that are black but mine are white. My M is a 1948 model. I want to purchase new guages. Does anyone offer a complete guage package with all three guages? Thanks in advance.

I have a fairly original '47 and my gauges have a white face.
I recently read in a Hemmings Classic magazine about someone in Georgia who rebuilds original gauges.

Dear Zog,
Call Jerry Trcka. He is the last word in gauges. Most of the foreign, cheap gauges have problems. If Jerry cant fix your old gauges, he can put white faces on new J.D. black face gauges.
