m hp estimate

Would like to get an estimate on power for a
farmall m project. Super m block bored to
4.375". Stock stroke. 316 cubes. 450 gas head.
10:1 compression. Cam grind for low RPM lug.
Stock high idle of 1600. Farm stock type
classes.

Any idea what to expect for power? Thanks.

Rough guess around 80. Your pto (if you still have it) should hold that much on a dyno to give you an exact number

Whad grade of fuel do you think that I would need to run in an engine like this?

I wouldnt run anything under 93. 100 low lead aviation fuel would probably be best. Again this is just my opinion.

My going to figure you to be about 75-80 hp with that set up.
