Last year i put a 525 ci motor in a farmall M and now fourth gear is to slow in the light classes, running 18.4-38 tires. Want to know what the best way would be to speed it up.

wit that big of an engine, if it runs good, a w-6 ring and pinion won't get you where you need, so a m&w 9 speed is probably what you are looking for

Super M gears with W-6 ring/pinion speeds it up quite a bit. I think there's another ring/pinion that's faster yet - I-6 maybe??

You need a 9 speed i run high first or 2nd most off the time just a little bigger than you but i have 34s have run 38 but it works better for me with the 34s
