M5 what would you do?

Bought a M5 lp from a guy, has antifreeze in oil, he said radatior had small leak and didnt notice it until engine got hot and an started steeming. Havent pulled it apart yet to see what happened. Heres question: Are m5 lps more valuble than gas? I have a gas parts tractor I could convert everthing. I would use lp manifolds and heads if usable on another m5 I pull with. Should I keep it lp or convert to gas? Sorry so long!

keep it on LP! Value between gas and LP are the same no difference. I have a diesel myself. LP runs cleaner of course vs gas but is a pain to fuel up over the gas.

my self i would keep propane starts good never cold blooded is easy to fill fuel never gets bad if you run out in field use 20 pound bottle and refill no spill cant be beat jerry

Where do you think antifreeze is coming from? Cracked head?

Almost thirty years ago, when I bought mine, it had two cracked heads. I had to replace one, and had the other welded up.

Could be a cracked head, but also could be a water pump seal. Is there a leak at the timing cover near the water pump? sometimes if the weep hole gets plugged, it can push past the seal.
