does anyone remember the magnatrack advertised in popular mech. mag? i always wanted one wally

Yep remember them well and also how about that $19.95 Lincoln welder you could get with a life time warranty. I got one of those welders and boy what a joke but I did learn to weld with it. I also wanted one of those magnatracks but never could afford one

Magnatrac is still in business, google CF Struck, Cedarburg, WI. I have a Magnatrac 5000, 25 HP Kohler motor, as good a dozer as any cat built, only smaller. Compared to my ASV RC 30, though, it is half the speed. I still love using it to make waterways, though, grades like a champ. Also great for impressing the wuffos, at the old machinery shows!

Never seen a commercial aired, but, Struck's web site has videos.

There is a big Magnatrac forum on Yahoo Groups.com. Lots of models and photos shown. Fellas have all sorts of models, new and old. A letter to Struck gets you a video and brochures and later offers in mail to purchase. They also made many other items like lawn tractors, wheeled magnatracs, and more odd machines. Pix on that site. At one time could get just plans and or a kit of hardware to build your own. Not any more.
