I want to rewind my Bosch FU4 Mag. How do you get the brass ring off the front of the rotor? I used my bearing puller to take the bearing off the front, but can't figure out how to take off the brass slip ring without breaking the isulator. Anyone done this before?

Heat it some carefully and was originally done by friction from a cloth rag till the slip ring expands enough to come loose. A heat gun will help do it today. No NOT a torch!
