Mallory points

I have a 1940 John Deere "A" with a Mallory distributor on it, Number YB237D-1. I need a new set of points, Number 24205. Does anyone know of any NOS or a phone number I can call.

I don't know if it will help you or not,but the only other thing I've seen with a Mallory is my Oliver 1550,so Agco dealer. I was having to change points way too often in it though and changed it to electronic ignition.

NAPA's Echlin brand has some Mallory ignition, and Mallory was used on a lot of older marine engines. You might want to take a sample with you and check some boat dealers.
