I have a MF 35 and it seems like a stretch to pull a 10 ft disc. Not saying it’s not possible but I wouldn’t plan on moving very fast. The 35 is a very similar tractor just with no power steering. Mine has the Perkins as well. Very good tractors.

Yes on 10ft disc, 3 bottom plow
Opps, I was thinking MF 165 52 HP when I hit like. A 135 would only be 38 HP. MF 135 will pull a two bottom plow, 10 foot disk would be maximum, 8 foot would be better.

A loader tractor should already have plenty of rear ballast for plowing. Three point tillage tools might need front end ballast, leave the loader on, maybe remove the bucket for better vision and maneuverability. With drawn tillage tools, if the loader is quick-tach, remove the loader or the bucket for field work.

What is the difference between the MF 135, and the MF 231? About all I see it the 231 is newer. Your thoughts. stan

I'm assuming you mean Massey Ferguson 135. Sounds like some one is trying to give you a sweet deal! With good rubber and in good shape that would fetch 3500$ easy around here, especially with a loader.

i would have to mount the loader because it sat in his back field till last year

I talked to him on the phone this morning at like 7 am. I bought it. ill get pics when I get it home. I plan on hanging the loader at my grandmas and then driving it the 3 miles home. I will keep the bush hog at my grandmas for a while till I start clearing the land for my next project.

Change as many of the fluids as you can after the ride home, while it’s warm . Don’t get burnt 🥵 either. Where you’re PPE ! Get into the habit safely first.
