Hi all,
I posted this information the implement discussion, but am thinking it
might be better here:
I've been looking for a 4F trail plow to match up to my Massey 555 for
some time. I noticed someone nearby just hauled two old plows out of a
fence line. Stopped in to look & ask about them. Both appear to be Massey
#28's, one 2 furrow and one 3 furrow.
I'm wondering, did the 28 ever come as a 4 furrow, and would it be
unreasonable to think one could get a 4 furrow by bolting parts from one
onto the other, with some modification here and there? Would the line of
pull be all out of whack? I've never actually used a trail plow, only semi
& fully mounted.
Thanks,
Daniel
