Massey 4243 instruments

I"ve got a 2000 MF 4243 that the gauges are starting to quit. First the tach and hour meter, then fuel gauge. I tried a new tach and hour meter and it still doesn"t work. All fuses are ok. It"s all one big unit. we do have power and ground. Thoughts?

The tractor in question is computer operated. You may have a data link problem. All the computers are connected and communicate through what they call com wires negitive and positive . You may have a computer failing. ither way , like it or not you will have to find a QUALIFIED mechanic to troubleshoot the problem. You next problem is finding one of them. One thing, DO NOT INSTALL ANY FUSES IF THIER IS NOT ONE ALREADY THEIR. If you install a fuse and the machine does not have that option it will do funny things. You best bet is to have the dealer look at it. And ask allot of questions before hireing them. Like are they factory trained with epsolon.This is the name of the software. Do not just go changing parts. You will only be guessing.
