sorry haven't made my case clear.. LP gas. tractor starts and runs great.. any time you give it any amount of gas it dies. when driveing and the gov comes on it dies. could it be something in the dist not advanceing the spark. you can advance the gas real slow all the way open runs ok. but hit a load it will die.

Not to many on L.P. There could be a number of things. Depending on who's L.P. carb you may have. The most common one had external linkage on one side thats adjusted like your 3-point top-link. Play with that. There is also a diaphram in the regulator that works off of vacum. It may have a hole in it. There is also a filter. The regulator may also be freezing up. The Minnieapolis Moline discussion page is your best source. For L.P. parts. There are a few gentelmen there that have remanufactured parts for these older regualtor and or have gone out and had parts made for the rest of us. They will be very helpful. Your M.F. dealer realy will not have a clue what to do with a 65 on L.P. Most likely since it is running the spark is fine. Pull a wire off and check the spark. If can not see it, Then you may need a tune up or coil.
