This is our pastor's tractor. He has had a Bush Hog on it for over a year, get used a good bit. Used it Saturday morning, all good, decided to unhook the Bush hog and put a blade on. As soon as he unhooked the top link the lift arms raised all the way up( with the bush hog still attached). He struggled, but got it off. The arms will not go down, it has been sitting since then, zero drop. Any idea? I'm afraid it's coming here for repairs. Lol

Check the Position and Draft control levers first. Make sure the Draft is at the lower range of the quadrant, if too high the arms will raise. Also check the Position lever, if fully up it should raise the arms, and if TOO LOW in the response quadrant range that will raise arms too if the lower stop bolt has been moved too low. If none of this helps there's either lift cover linkage trouble inside and/or the hydraulic pump control valve is stuck. The pump control arm and levers can be seen through the right rear six bolt side cover diff case opening.

A Ford that I used to have would have would get a headache if I pushed the quadrant ahead too fast. I guess the linkage got out of the range of an electronic sensor. Oh wait, maybe that MF has no electronics?

I had a guy one time that came and got me to look at his tractor with same problem. Come to find out, he was hooking up a 3-point blade, had backed up to it, hooked up the lower arms to the blade just how the blade sat (with hook up points elevated up by just how the blade was sitting on its own, may have been blocked up even).

Anyways, this guy was not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree, and was to dumb to know that the blade itself was holding the 3 point system up by how it was sitting and with the lower arms hooked up. He didn't know that the 3 point system only comes down by gravity, and the blade itself was preventing this from happening. I got the blocks out from under it (or whatever it was that was holding the blade up), and had him pull the tractor forward, and all was good. He could hook up the top link then.

Just a thought, if he un-hooked the bush hog with the front of it up on blocks, and didn't notice that the problem was gone after he actually did get it un-hooked. Because I ran into an idiot one time that couldn't figure out even the simplest of the simplest.

Sometimes a guy just really don't know what's going on, until he actually checks it out for himself. Probably not the case with your story. But you just never know. Being a preacher, well I have seen some of them that aren't really, .... just all that equipment knowledgeable. Quite the opposite actually.

Check the Pins where connecting the Quadrant levers to the pump/Lift control rods. Or... Could be the pin inside on the pump control arm, Can be viewed by removing the Right side Round access cover. Great Tractors, Like most are Old and needing attention. Post on the Massey Forum, maybe find some more knowledge.
