I'm trying to figure out wether it would be worth converting my 1130 massey ferguson to an open center hydraulic system if this can be done feasably. If anyone has any input I'd greatly appreciate it.

I guess my first question would be WHY ? What is to be gained over what you have now operating right ? Do you have problems with closed system or has some body sold you a bill of goods and making you think open is better just because johndeer says so? I,m sure if you have unlimited budget it could be done..

Im with jm. on this one, closed center is 110% better then open on all 8 days of the week. Unless theres a major problem, i wouldnt convert. Toby.

well really i've never worked with the closed system bfore and they seem to be a little easier than what i've been reading in the owners manual. the problem i'm having is i cant get the 3pt to work and it seems really sluggish. i'm told the pump in the front is bad but i dont know quit how to test to find out for sure before going in too deep with funds. Do you have any ideas?
