Need more help. I went back to the tractor... scrubbed more numbers: Serial # is 9A 965492;Transmission 506824M2; Differential 521 390A91 CX18000;Loader MFICM MF34 1687101185;Bucket 32A 2205002795;Hood MF40(may not be the original). One other number found, but I don't remember where: MF 9A 3I9457. If this doesn't get us closer...I will attach a picture.

Will send pix. Need to learn how. 'am new to process. Lance at 'TractorTalk'Forum offered to tell me how and/or email the pix. Tx. rw

If it has the 4 bar bucket linkage for the loader it is the MF34 loader like you mentioned. If the hood says MF40, I'd say you have an MF40. If it's a 3 cylinder with an MF34 loader, it could only be an MF40. The first serial number you list doesn't make sense and the other 9A number would indicate a way newer machine. I think you have an MF40 but a picture would help a lot. Dave
