massey ferguson warning lights

I have a mid 90's massey ferguson 281. Can anyone tell me what the yellow light on the dash with a gear sign on it means. The light goes away at lower rpms. Help please - women in distress!

I have a 1987 MF 375 with a 12 light display. The upper six should light up when you turn the key on to let you know they all work, then go out. There are several gear shaped lights. The one with opposing arrows indicates low hydraulic services pressure. The amber light indicates transmission/hydraulic oil filter blockage warning light: orange light comes on when the canister type filter needs changing. Hope this helps, although they are different tractors.

The problem is that every maker of anything tries to invent their own langauge. I have a camera that shows one pine tree every so often, three pine tres sometimes, and nobody knows. My MF shows gears, arrows, vetical lines, who knows?OUr van has symbols of old-style oil cans, what might be an old mercury thermometer sitting in water...... who knows.
Our civilization already has a language, it is called (drum-roll....) the English language. For goodness sake, just label things correctly; oil temp., water temp, revolutions / minute, whatever. I bet we can figure it out.

Amen to that although we dont have many problems like those around here cuz all our equipment is so old they dont have dash lights and such. I have to admit I am alittle jealous of those folks that do, lol.
