hey i'm havin a little trouble startin my MH-50. i got it to fie up COUPLE TIMES BUT TI WONT STAY RUNNING LONGER THAN A FEW SECONDS. I'M NOT SURE ABOUT THE FUEL LINES ETC CARB??

The first thing I would do is disconnect the fuel line to see if you are getting a full flow of fuel to the carb. Let it run until it has run enough to empty out a full sediment bowl's worth of fuel. If the fuel flow slows down, then you probably have dirt in the bottom of the tank that settles down into the throat of the sediment bowl, but still allows a reduced flow to get through. You will have to remove the entire sediment bowl assembly and drain the tank and clean everything out to correct this problem. If you have good fuel flow, then you could have dirt in the carb. You will have to take it all apart, clean it, check the float & needle valve, etc. If this does help, I would move on to spark issues.

If you find good flow, check the carb inlet elbow. It had a screen in it from the factory and tends to cause a problem after it has run a minute or so. Will it run with a little choke?

If you have a bad coil,they will fire once then die. Sometimes you can sit there all day and do that.

yea it only fires with the choke and when i push it it it goes out.
