Will a F-226 out of a 101 Sr fit into a 101jr.

The 101jr has a 4 cyl continental, the 101sr has either a 6 cyl chrysler or continental, a much longer engine. Without major modification, I can't imagine it fitting.

I'm not so sure that it won't fit. The F226 may be a six cylinder, but it's a small 6 cylinder. The only way to tell is to do some measuring. The Seniors and Juniors in essence were really a lot alike.

Thanks ill do some measuring im just wanting the lighter weight Jr with the power of the Sr.

dont know for sure but should be real close both used same rear end and im thinking clutches, along with same dash and some other sheet metal

no, but a f 162 with mods can be good power
