I was looking for an oliver or white 4-16 semi mount plow to replace my 2-14 plow and 3-14plow. but i have not found one yet and i need to sell my little plows first. but i found a guy who has a 4-14 allis plow with sloted boards and stainless points? no coulters. he also has a 4-16 massey that look ok i just dont know much about massey plows. its a semi mount all wear parts look like they have life left in them it needs paint. are massey plows any good? how do the compare to ford or oliver or white. do they pull harder, how do they do in corn stalks? any and all information is appreciated . thank

DO you know the model of the MF? The 880 MF is a very good plow. Good parts availability yet. They are a relatively long plow and pass trash very well. They were built in hydraulic auto reset, spring auto reset, and toggle trip versions. Much better plow than the AC.

If it is anything like the MF two way plows here,it is a very good plow.Pulls easy with good parts availability.better than Ford/Oliver,espeacially the Allis...

only pic i have is one on his website its under tillage and its not the best pic but if you want to look and tell me what you can it would be most appreciated .

its under tillage and its in the same pic with the allis plow
he had an oliver plow but it sold

Hard to tell what it is for sure, but definitely not an 880. Appears to be a box trip. Still a lot better plow than the AC. Missing coulters, and being what it is, I wouldn't expect it to be more than $5-600 max around here.

I've owned a couple of MF rollover plows. They were pretty good, pulled really easy and buried trash pretty good. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

There is no better plow built than a Oliver/White plow, and parts are readily available from many sources. Find one of them. They made them for Case and Ford also, same plows, just different colors.Make sure there are colters on the plow, that you buy.
