I have been looking at these tractor the cx models very seriously, is their any forums or consumer guides to check these out?

No tractor is anybetter than the dealer selling them. Our local one selling them is doing well and farmers are happy

My cousin has one he uses everyday on a dairy farm. Bought it brand new about 3 yrs. ago. He just loves it compared to his Whites.

I'd been saying that if I was going to buy a new one, that's what it would be,just because they were the nearest to me for a dealer. But...now the dealer closed. I GUESS they are made in England in the old CaseIH factory. The CX was supposed to be the same as a Case at first except they had a Perkins engine. I don't know what's been changed over the last few years. Still,if the dealer hadn't closed, they'd be the first one I'd look at.

Thanks for the input fellas, I think i am going to work at getting one after the new years.

Our local one sold several before the dealership went t!t$ up,and now the nearest one is over 200 miles away. The owners seem satisfied enough with the tractors alright but the service now bites to say the least.Other dealers won't take them in on trade because of that.Hope things work out better in your area, they are really nice tractors.pd

The old Case- I.H. factory where they were made (formerly I.H. Co of Great Britian Ltd) has or is about to close, production as far as I know is being shifted to Italy by the owners of Mc Cormick tractors, Landni.
